Fog Minion

Roughly before Christmas my husband Bran got some e liquid to review. Fog minion a wonderful company to talk with had sent him their line to test. I sampled a few and though they weren't my thing he enjoyed them. This is his review, but in my words lol. We did take the liquid around to our local shops to let them try since it was a smaller line and hopefully they'll be picking it up or at least some of the flavors.

I did try a few of the flavors fudge dream and hawaiian fuzzberry were the only ones I could see myself vaping on but all in all not a bad little line. Their liquid is a premium line of a 70/30 blend (70%VG and 30%PG) and you can tell that based on the consistency of the liquid it is dense but still "runny" enough that I was able to put it into a RTA and not worry about bogging it down or clogging it up.

As far as my hubby goes he really enjoyed the fudge dream mixing it with everything, and even vaping on it alone thats why that bottle is pretty empty. Fudge dream is stated to be a smooth creamy fudge taste with a nice custard after taste. When I vaped on it I most definitely got the fudge chocolate taste but not so much the creamy taste, it seems more like a fudge pop.

Super Melon is exactly as it says melon flavor. Not so much a watermelon taste but more like a honeydew flavor mixed with other melons but the honeydew flavor is very prominent. It is one of the stronger flavors and even seemed like the 3mg was super strong and leaving a long lasting after taste. It really wasn't my type having tried various fruit flavors and melon flavors. He did seem to enjoy it slightly.

Tropical Storm (one I didn't really try) he tried it a few times to just get a good feel for it, but he felt like it, apple, pineapple, and a little bit of coconut. He felt like it was a good over all fruit flavor not to strong, and a really good balance of flavors.

Pineapple Berry (another one I didn't really try) he tried it a few times also to get a good feel for the liquid. It has a light inhale of pineapple, and a grapey apple after taste. So like the name states you get the best of the fruit world on inhale and exhale.

Hawaiian Fuzzberry was one that I tried a few times, it has a very Hawaiian taste. Fruity, tropical, and berry all rolled into one. Hawaiian Punch comes to mind but with a twist of pina colada flavor. I liked this one because it was fruity but not a knock you down fruity because of the tropical twist.

All in all these flavors tasted pretty good all alone and even some tasted really well together and with other liquids. Hope to enjoy more from this company, they have a unique way of blending the liquids without fillers and extras they require little to no steeping time. This company set us up with a special mix of 3mg because they don't usually do less than a 6mg. Hopefully this is a start of a new 3mg line for them since that is what our locals are looking for.

Vape Fuel, my last refueling :(

So here we are again, 5 liquids down and 5 more to go. Nearly 2 weeks ago I got this awesome vape mail and have been trying out these liquids on and of trying to figure out what they taste like and how much I like each one. We covered the two tobacco flavors, Love Potion #9, Sonic nerd, and Ambrosia. Each just as unique as the company that made them. What I've been vaping on for the last 2 weeks has been a combination of Tigers Blood, Fairy's Blood a Holy Grail premium liquid, Strawnana, Strawberry, and Blueberry Pomegranate. Mind you not all at the same time though strawnana and strawberry do taste awesome together lol just brings out the strawberry more. Well lets dive down into these liquids and get the low down on each one.

Strawnana:

I used a 6mg and it is a 50/50 blend again that means 50% VG and 50% PG. It is a wonderful flavor tastes just how it sounds strawberry banana. To my surprise the banana didn't taste like a willy wonka runts banana but actually like a real banana and the strawberry just the same not like a candy taste but more like a tart ripe strawberry blended to perfection with the banana. It takes you on a ride, honestly it's a love or hate liquid you either love it or hate it. Me personally I love it, but it's not an all day vape liquid I used it for a little while and then came back to it. A very good liquid in my opinion. With the blend it produces a very nice throat hit, like you can tell you're puffing on it and a pretty decent cloud. Now when I mixed it half and half with some more VG it did a slamming cloud and still had amazing flavor. I give this blend among the other strawberry banana ones I've tried a major thumbs up, these guys nailed it on this one. On a scale of 1-10 I give this one a solid 8.

Strawberry:

A plain counter part to the strawnana, but a whole different flavor experience all together. This one was more like a strawberry wine almost. It was tart but sweet the tart did over power the sweet but not enough to just put it down and not vape it again. I used the 6mg and for that it seemed very strong I had to cut it with my VG to make it more vapeable. Plus side of that means more clouds for you cloud chasers, but the throat hit died with it. I give this one a 5 out of 10 on the scale because the nic level seemed so much stronger than it really was, making the throat hit just take my breath away. Just my opinion and we all know where I'm going with that one lol. Still a good liquid even with that draw back for me.

I can't pin down what it tastes like or even what it's supposed  taste like. I wasn't won over with this one when we got it and even after letting it sit for a little while I still haven't discovered that ah ha moment when I enjoy the liquid. This one does have it's vape fuel followers but I won't be one of them. It is a part of their premium line making the VG a higher blend stated at a 70 VG 30 PG but again like the other ones I've tried it seems to be a tad runny for a higher VG blend. The creators definitely left me guessing with this one. I didn't vape it long to be honest because it just wasn't my thing on my scale of 1-10 it's on the lower end of 4, but again that's just me. It's just not my thing however that is the point of trying liquids before you buy them in the shops. The bottle is very beautiful and the art work on it is just gorgeous to thumbs up to the designer. 

Blueberry Pomegranate:

This one I vaped was a 6mg and is a 50/50 blend. I had to try this one over and over again, it's simply put mouth watering. A great combination of sweetly tart blueberries and the equally tart pomegranate. I tried it in an RDA and my RTA. The tank did it more justice than the RDA. This one didn't win me at first but I came back to it and was completely taken back by the transformation it did just after a week of sitting. I loved this flavor and am super sad that I've used it all up :( It to me is a good part of the day vape not necessarily an all day vape because it would be a little strong when you first wake up and all but it is a major part of the day vape. The throat hit was strong like with the strawberry it seemed strong for a 6mg but it didn't take your breath away. The clouds were pretty decent. A wonderful blend and on the scale I give it a 9, the only reason it's not a 10 is just the throat hit part for me being a little strong. All in all this is a great flavor combo and a great liquid. 

And finally Tigers Blood:

This one is my 10 out of all the flavors I've tried so far of Vape Fuel. I'm a little predisposed to the tropical blends, like pina colada flavor this one brings. I'm a little fruity myself lol. Tigers Blood is a 6mg (mine was) 50/50 blend with an equal throat hit and cloud combo a great combination to have for a 50/50 blend. I vaped this on both a RDA and an RTA and got totally different flavors to pull through, meaning on the RDA it was a mild tropical flavor with a slightly more strong coconuty flavor pulling through. In the RTA it was an OMG I want to go order me a drink now because this tastes just like the drink. I loved this liquid in the tank! This is another one I've vape on and vaped on until I'm left at the bottom of the bottle saying refuel lol. To me it is an all day type of vape not to strong for in the morning but not a bland get tired of it flavor through out the day. Again this is my 10 of all the flavors. 

Wanted to say thank you again to Vape Fuel for this amazing vape mail, it has been a pleasure tying out these flavors and I can't wait to get more to try from your site. The creators of this company have put some serious time and effort and thought into creating these flavors, each is just as unique as the last. Major thumbs up and you will be getting repeat business for me lol :)

So we're back, and with more Vape Fuel!

 
Sonic Nerd another Holy Grail liquid that Vape Fuel offers.
Sonic Nerd is a interesting flavor at first taste you taste a bold tang lime flavor, followed by a slighter sweet after taste. This is a higher VG juice than their regular juices, stated at a 70/30 blend but again as with the Love Potion it does seem to not have the consistency you would expect from a higher VG liquid. Like the old saying goes, "the proof is in the pudding." Here the proof is in the vapor, it does produce a decent cloud, with a good overall throat hit. I've let it sit for about 5 days now to see if it needed to steep any before really giving it a good vape, when I came back to it the flavors were intense, and the 6mg content seemed almost unbearable even for someone who uses 6mg regularly. I did mix some up with some pure VG and got about a 90/10 blend and it cut the 6mg down to make it much more "breathable." This juice does have a lot of followers but to me it seems it's missing something, like there should be a little more sweet to the flavor. I could be wrong I may have been mislead by the name thinking, "Oh like nerds candy kind of." After vaping on it when it first came in and after letting it sit for a few days and vaping on it again I still came back to the missing something idea. This is a wonderful flavor don't get me wrong, it is skillfully crafted just not for me. I addeded a few drops of another one of their liquids together with this one and came closer to the flavor I thought it would be more like. It had the sweet and the tang giving it a well developed flavor, but again thats just in my opinion. 

 
Ambrosia a liquid offered by Vape Fuel
Ambrosia is the flavor I was talking about when I added to Sonic Nerd. Ambrosia is a flavor that just didn't match it's description of being a succulent sweet flavor. It does have a sweet flavor but a very interesting after taste almost earthy. It's another one I let sit for a few days and came back to, when I came back it did get sweeter but still had the interesting after taste. I don't know how to describe the after taste other than earthy. This liquid is a 50/50 blend with equal amounts of cloud and throat hit both decent. 

As far as these two flavors go it's something that may tickle a fancy for many just didn't sit well with me. Mixed together they have an amazing flavor, each picks up what the other is lacking. They have winners again with these two liquids. I'm looking forward to trying the rest of my vape mail and getting into each of the flavors and more that they offer.  Below is a link directly to their web page where you can see ALL the flavors they offer which is a TON of different flavors something to interest  even the most selective of vapers. Let me just say from the start thank you to the company big time for sending us some vape mail to review their product. We got included in the package some neat stickers, business cards, and even a small menu for their premium line that tells you what the flavors are. All in all an awesome vape mail package today, just made the day that much better.

 

The selections of flavors they sent were mainly fruity but there were some earthy toned ones and some tobacco flavored ones. I'm not a huge fan of the tobacco flavors but these were a moist almost raw tobacco flavor, the m-blend is almost a dead ringer for a Marb cigarette almost a pall mall, and the m-blend R tastes identical to a Marb red. The blend for these liquids is a 50/50 blend and does produce a decent amount of vapor, and a decent throat hit. Not my cup of tea but still decent flavors especially if you are into the tobacco flavors I highly recommend these two because of their likeness to the real deal.

My personal favorite out of the bunch is Love Potion #9 Holy Grail liquid. This liquid is delicious to say the least, if not for the health concerns I'd turn the bottle up and gulp it down it tastes that good. It's stated to be a higher VG blend but does seem a little more "runny" for a 70/30 blend (70% VG, 30% PG). This juice does seem to produce more vapor than some of the others that are a 50/50 blend so I do know that it is a higher concentration of VG than those.

Is the excerpt from their site, and it does not lie, it is a wonderful combo of melon and fruity flavors. The melon flavor prevails on the inhale while the fruity flavors linger for a delightful after taste. This is a fruity flavor so it may be not the type to be an all day vape for some, and for those who don't enjoy the fruity flavors they may stay away from this one. However in my opinion though it is fruity it's not a knock you down fruity, almost like its just a friend that stays for a spell and then leaves. 

As far as these 3 liquids go, tobacco isn't my choice however I do recommend theirs because of the likeness to a regular cigarette, which is great for those trying to quit. The Holy Grail liquid Love Potion #9 I recommend everyone to give it a try, it really does put you under it's spell and you'll find yourself hooked on this delicious flavor.

Ok so this post isn't vape related but just wanted to quick update that there will be a minor lag before another post. Those who know me or are my friends on Facebook know that I'm a nursing student, yeah I know working, family, and a blog on top of all that lol. Well this week and next partly is my week of finals until next semester, so this weekend instead of posting some new goodies I'm going to be studying my tail off for finals. I haven't forgotten my vaping followers or my vaping community just have a bigger fish to fry this weekend. Y'all I'll play catch up with more than one or two posts next week. We'll be posting another juice review, coil build picto walk through and possibly a mod review just have to decide which one, hades mod or a wu tang house of modz mod. Which would y'all like to see? Welcome back my fellow vapers, today we are going to cover a duel parallel build. I'm using lightning vapes 26 gage wire, and a 3/32 drill bit to make my coils. I wrapped them 8 times each making this build once heated and clamped on a 0.2ohms build which is safe for my battery and my RDA. When building safety is always really important, you never build to low for your battery or RDA to handle or too high, though if you're a cloud chaser to low is the one we worry about.

So let's dive down into this build...

Cut two equal lengths of wire pax 1ft long I usually use about 8 inches 

My 3/32 drill bit I'm using to build these coils

First coil is finished wrapped 8 times still need to tighten the wires up to make sure none are crossing and everything is close together.

Placing it on your deck is easy tighten down only one side of the deck since you'll have another set of wires going through the positive post.

The reverse side picture of the first coil. You'll just repeat these steps for your second coil the only difference is once placed you'll tighten the positive post down.

Still a mess but once clipped, clamped and positioned you'll be firing great in no time. Before firing your coils always check the ohm reading before pulsing.

Mine read at a 0.22 before I clamped them and positioned them.

You'll pulse your coils to get them to heat evenly, make sure if you don't have ceramic tweezers you don't pulse your battery while clamping them to get them to fire evenly.

Finally after a little bit they heating evenly and from the center out. A beautiful coil build.

Get your cotton ready not too thick but enough that it won't collapse when you fire it. Twist one end off to slip through the coils to wick it.

Tuck one end under the side of the coil but not blocking the space below to allow good air flow. Snip that just past the deck and tuck again.

Repeat these steps for the other side.

Now you're ready to add your e liquid.

Make sure you drench your cotton the first time. Now you're ready to fire.

 Fires like a champ, now put your RDA back together with the sleeve, add some extra liquid and top cap. You're ready to vape on.

She vapes like a beauty. It takes a few times to get this build to work right if you're not familure with parallel builds, mainly to get the wires not to over lap. Once you build it you'll love it and like me it'll probably become your go to coil. I was building on my Doge which if you can't tell by now is my favorite RDA. Stay tuned for more.

It's been a few days since my last review but with the holiday season upon us I'm sure y'all can understand.

Today we are going to review two of my new favorite juices.
Heavens Kiss by Flavorz and Admiral Berry Crunch by Mount Baker Vapor

Both are available in different strengths and from their web sites different sizes. I use the 6mg strength for dripping and they are a 50/50 blend.  Meaning 50% PG and 50% VG so it gives you a good throat hit and a good amount of vapor. Myself and my husband cut it in half even more for dripping since the 50/50 blend is more or less for tank usage. We mix half of the e liquid with VG and it makes it more of an 80/20 blend and cuts the mg to about a 3mg which is our preferred strength for dripping. 

Heavens kiss is a toffee coffee flavor, it does have a sweet tone to it but as the label suggests it is a breakfast flavor.  Where as Admiral Berry Crunch is almost a dead ringer for Berry Crunch a part of Captain Crunches line of cereal. Mixed together these two make a really good morning vape, and if you like sweet flavors it makes a good all day kind of vape.

Mount Baker Vapor can be bought online at their web site along with tons of other flavor options and the Heavens Kiss is available in our local shops and online. 
Both of these flavors produce a good vape but with our little modification even more when we make it more of an 80/20 blend. I recommend these flavors to those who like sweet flavors and Heavens Kiss to those who like a sweeter coffee flavor. Very good juices, these companies get a thumbs up :)

Welcome back y'all tonight we're going to dive down into another RDA

The twister RDA

This is an authentic RDA

This RDA is probably one of my least favorite, if not down right dangerous RDA's. This RDA has even a warning for it when you go to purchase it from every web site that I've located it on. Explaining that you need to exercise extreme caution when using advanced RDAs and more. So aside from that this one runs a hard hitting $100 or more, which is so not worth the investment at all.

Diving down into the dripper this is serial number 166

It features a 3 post deck and a flat 510 so it does not adjust another negative drawback to this dripper. 

The top cap features a 2 piece design that twists to decrease or increase the air flow, which is another MAJOR draw back to this RDA. It has a serious lack of air flow.

This RDA we were going to do a build in and show how it vapes, which despite the warnings on every site I've located this RDA, namely the authentic having the warnings. However after 5 attempts at different builds with different wires and set ups we could not get it to read correctly and when trying to heat the coils to test we had some serious over heating of our mods. So I do apologize about the fact that I can't tell you how it vapes, or show y'all how it vapes. 

So that's the twister, I don't recommend this RDA, and it is not worth the money to invest in the authentic. I was not happy with it once I received it, and took it apart to see just how it worked. The warnings are real I had I build at a cool 0.46 well within safety limits of the batteries I use and mods I use, and this cause a battery meltdown, and explosion. So I really do not recommend this to anyone! 

Just to ease your minds the mod that the explosion happened on came out fine just had some minor collateral damage. We are not newbies and have never had an issue with any mods, RDAs or anything until we got this one. So this will sit up on a shelf and just look pretty in it's little ring style box.
